146.82 BOSTON BACK BAY REPEATER IS DOWN

An Antenna system issue needs to be repaired. This will likely take several weeks.


HOPKINTON REPEATER FREQUENCY HAS CHANGED

To avoid anticipated tropo interference from the Mt. Washington, NH this summer, the Hopkinton repeater frequency has changed to 447.775 MHz. Offset is still -5MHz, with local PL 71.9 and linked PL 88.5. Also, as usual, YSF mode is supported.

MMRA hosts a forum on ZOOM to help answer questions like those above. Everyone is invited whether licensed or not. You do not need to be a member of the MMRA. Whether you have been licensed for weeks or for years you may be able to help answer questions from others.

Andy's Ham Radio Linux
Andy Stewart - KB1OIQ

Andy Stewart (KB1OIQ) has created a software collection called "Andy's Ham Radio Linux" (AHRL) which has been available on Sourceforge for about 13 years. With over 100,000 downloads to date, this popular software collection contains programs covering a wide range of interests in ham radio.
The current version can be installed on top of many flavors of Debian and Ubuntu Linux.
AHRL also works on Raspberry Pi 4 and 5.
The talk will cover what's new about Version 26, will also highlight some of the key pieces of software.
