Repeater use for the Boston Marathon
On Monday, April 20th, from 4AM to 8PM the following MMRA repeaters will be in use for Boston Marathon runner safety and support:
  • Weston 146.790, 442.700
  • Boston 146.820
  • Marlborough 147.270
  • Hopkinton 447.775

    • User commands and Echolink/IRLP will not be available on the systems listed above. Repeaters not listed will be available for normal use but will still have their user commands disabled..


    The former Quincy repeaters (146.67 and 224.4) are being relocated to Milton

    The new antennas have shipped and the tower climber is being scheduled.
    Weather may prevent installation until spring.
    It is expected the new location will have the same or better coverage as Forbes Hill.
